VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (VOSB/SDVOSB) CERTIFICATION

That’s billions in potential opportunities waiting for qualified veteran entrepreneurs to claim their share. FEDCON helps you get certified, get noticed, and get contracts.

Veteran-Owned Business Recognition

The VOSB/SDVOSB Certification, developed through a strategic partnership between the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA), empowers veteran-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses to access exclusive federal contracting opportunities.

By securing this certification, your business can compete for set-aside contracts specifically designated to support veterans, giving you a distinct advantage in the federal marketplace and helping you build long-term government relationships.

VOSB & SDVOSB Benefits

With the federal governments goal to allocate 5% of its budget on VOSB and SDVOSB set-aside contracts, there are many advantages to the certification program. With the federal government being the largest purchaser of goods and services in the US...

  • There will always be opportunities available.

  • The federal government is mandated to buy a portion from set-aside contracts, such as VOSB and SDVOSB.

  • They will always have the funds to pay you, so you never have to worry about missed or lapsed payments.

  • During a recession, the federal governments actually spends more.

When a solicitation is reserved for VOSB/SDVOSB businesses, your certification gives you exclusive access to opportunities limited to veteran-owned businesses. Your only competition will be those with the same certification, which is a much smaller pool than your regular pool of competition.

This certification will allow SDVOSB firms to compete for sole-source and set aside contracts across the federal government. VOSB's may also competed for sole-source and set asides through the VA.
